Dirty air affects us all, and a small and determined group of health professionals, faith leaders, and community activists are coming to Washington, D.C. to tell their stories.
“This is an issue that transcends political parties, because it negatively impacts us all.”

On May 15 and 16, more than 100 Clean Air Ambassadors will meet with their members of Congress, the EPA, and the White House as part of 50 States United for Healthy Air.
Earthjustice is proud to partner with American Nurses Association, Hip Hop Caucus, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Latino Coalition on Climate Change, National Council of Churches, and Physicians for Social Responsibility to help bring these Ambassadors and their stories to Washington, D.C.
These ambassadors are representing their states, their communities, their neighbors, and you. Take a moment to tell them why clean air is important to you. Give them the message you want to send to your senators, representatives, and the White House about cleaning up the air we breathe.
“Struggling to breathe due to air pollution cannot be tolerated.”

Carbon pollution from power plants is changing our climate. Smog and soot can trigger asthma attacks and send people to the hospital. Toxic dust from coal ash piles covers entire towns.
50 States United for Healthy Air intends to deliver a message to our leaders about the true impacts of dirty air. These ambassadors are coming to Congress, and this is a way for you to join them. Take action now by telling your state ambassador why clean air is important to you.
We’re all united to clean up the air we breathe.
Sincerely,
Jared Saylor
